Amsterdam

Amsterdam is certainly a place to visit - although there are tons of tourists, there are also tons of fabulous cafes, shops, museums and vistas to take in.

Bicycles in Amsterdam

I love the whole bicycle culture in Amsterdam - combine this with Graffiti and the city has a beautiful thing happening!! I spent a couple of weeks bicycling around some of the Netherlands and hope to return to see the rest. My trip was combined with visiting tons of relatives and of course boating around the canals. I can definitely see myself living in a house boat in Amsterdam or living in a very old house on the Maasdyks - a very beautiful countryside surrounded by stunning gardens, farm animals and a very relaxed way of living! Gezelligheid!
